A full night of Bublé songs? Count us in. Tmera Hepburn Oct. 24, 2022, 9:21 a.m. PT Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars kicked off last month, and we've already seen four couples eliminated so far. The competition for the coveted mirrorball trophy gets stiffer every week. Overall, this season of the reality competition series is undergoing some big changes, including a new co-host on the stage. But perhaps the biggest change is how to watch it. DWTS has moved from its prior home on ABC to stream exclusively on Disney+, making it the first live show on the streaming service. What's more, DWTS is foregoing its usual ad breaks by streaming commercial-free on the platform for Season 31. This is a huge change for the series since dancers and crew usually take advantage of the breaks for outfit changes, staging, and more, but they seemed to manage just fine on night one by adding some quick dances by the pros in between interviews. Season 31 ushered in 16 new contestants onto the ballroom floor along with their partners. While last season marked the first time a same-sex couple hit the stage with Jojo Siwa and Jenna Johnson Chmerkovskiy, Season 31 makes history with Shangela and Gleb Savchenko as the first male duo on the show. Shangela is also the very first drag queen to be cast as a contestant. Here's everything we know so far about Dancing with the Stars Season 31. Week 6 is underway, with a special Michael Bublé-themed episode airing Monday, Oct. 24, and the crooner himself will be making an appearance. Bublé will be a guest judge this week along with the usual fab four. Contestants and their partners will dance to songs like "Save the Last Dance for Me," "Feeling Good," "Home," and other hits from the Canadian singer. Last week, there was not one, but TWO nights of DWTS with Stars' Stories Week on October 17 and 18. Monday night's theme was "Most Memorable Year" where contestants paid tribute to experiences that shaped their lives. During the emotional night, Selma Blair, who has been dancing despite battling multiple sclerosis, stepped out of the competition due to the stress on her bones. In turn, no one was eliminated that night. On Tuesday's Prom Night, Charli D'Amelio and Mark Ballas received the first 10s of the season, while Joseph Baena and Daniella Karagach walked off the stage for good as the latest couple to be eliminated.
