Apple Series ‘ Mrs American Pie’ Will Star Allison Janney Kristen Wiig

Allison Janney will play Evelyn, and Kristen Wiig will play Maxine. The story takes place in the 70s, with Evelyn being a Palm Beach resident and socialite, and Maxine tries acquiring a residence there. Laura Dern developed the series Mrs. American Pie and will star in it as well. Apple has signed off for 10 episodes of the series. The Apple TV+ Palm Beach comedy series is based on the novel Mr. & Mrs. American Pie by Juliet McDaniel. Abe Sylvia will be the showrunner and an executive producer for the project. Tate Taylor will direct and executive produce with John Norris under their company Wyolah Entertainment. Dern and Jayme Lemons will executive produce the project under Jaywalker Pictures. The series Mrs. American Pie is off to a good start. Kristen Wiig and Allison Janney Are the Right Choices for the Series “ Mrs American Pie”
The series Mrs. American Pie has high expectations from the casting alone. Kristen Wiig and Allison Janney are very adaptable performers, able to take on comedic or dramatic roles. Janney is known for an array of roles, from the sharp-witted Press Secretary in West Wing to the sassy mother in Mom. Both roles earned the actor multiple Emmy nominations, and she has an Oscar under her belt for her role in I, Tonya. Kristen Wiig became a fan favorite for her many character portrayals on Saturday Night Live but also received praise for her performances in The Skeleton Twins and Bridesmaids. Now Allison Janney and Kristen Wiig will be able to flex their funny bones for the Apple TV+ Palm Beach comedy series Mrs. American Pie. Laura Dern will also star in the Abe Sylvia-created Apple TV+ Palm Beach comedy series. Now critics will have to wait and see if the writing for the series Mrs. American Pie will be as smart as its casting.
