This rather tall bird appears randomly in raids and it is worth it to try and collect this Pokemon. If you are on the hunt to find and catch this Pokemon, then here are the best movesets and counters to Moltres in Pokemon Go. The Best Movesets and Counters to Moltres in Pokemon Go
Moltres is a fire-type Legendary Pokemon so it is best to bring some rock-type Pokemon to catch this firey bird. It is best to bring Rhyperior with Smack Down and Rock Wrecker or Rampardos with Smack Down and Rock Slide. Although Tyranitar with Smack Down and Stone Edge works as well along with Blastoise with Water Gun and Hydro Cannon. Since Moltres takes four times the usual damage from the rock-type moves, bringing one of the mentioned Pokemon will increase your chance of catching Moltres tremendously. It is even better to bring the Mega Evolved Blastoise or Gyarados. If you have any other water-type Pokemon, bringing them could also help. Remember if you get lucky and found the Shiny form of Moltres, use a Pinap Barry rather than a Razz Berry. Moltres is a fantastic fire-type attacker and even a decent flying-type attacker as well. For the fire-type moves, it is best to stick to Fire Spin and Overheat, while for the flying-type moves it is best to use Wing Attack and Sky Attack which is also a Legacy move.
