Nintendo has been playing by its own rules for quite a while now – from the Wii, to the Wii U, to the 3DS, and now the Switch, one thing has remained consistent: The Nintendo Direct. Nintendo’s pre-recorded shows usually make an appearance at E3 and other big industry events, but they can also drop with little warning and always give fans something to speculate about. The next Nintendo Direct will be live-streamed on February 9, 2022. Nintendo’s presentation is set to last 40 minutes long and will give us a new look at upcoming titles for the Nintendo Switch. The event kicks off at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm GMT but the presentation will be available to rewatch at a later time if you can’t tune in live. How to watch February s Nintendo Direct stream

The Nintendo Direct presentation on February 9 will be “mainly focused on games launching in the first half of 2022”, so expect to see more footage from titles like Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Advanced Wars 1+2, and Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. Other upcoming Nintendo Switch games that could be featured include Splatoon 3, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, and Bayonetta 3. None of these titles currently have a concrete release date, but they’re all expected to drop at some point in 2022. Read More: Chris Pratt to star in new Mario movie Nintendo usually includes at least one wildcard in its Nintendo Direct presentations – recent rumors have hinted at a new Mario Kart, a new Pikmin, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3, although it’s worth remembering that these are just rumors for now. Many Nintendo fans are also hoping to get more information about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 (perhaps a release date?) and the long-awaited Metroid Prime 4 and Metroid Prime Trilogy, although these do seem unlikely.
