Go on, be a sport and drop a vote in the poll above, and comment below with your hot picks! Share: About Anthony started Nintendo Life way back in late 2005 and has remained at the helm ever since. He loves Nintendo but sometimes gets confused and starts telling everyone that F-Zero X is the best F-Zero game. We've tried getting him help, but alas... Comments ) No eShop games for me this week which is fine, got a lot to play as it is. Importing a physical copy of Steins;Gate Elite as it didn't get a physical release in Australia. : Appreciate the extra speedy update this week. Btw: The list is missing the Awesome Pea demo thanks, but that is because the Awesome Pea Demo was released last week: Protip: If you try out the Trials Rising Open Beta on Switch, try using the GameCube Controller. The game supports the analog triggers! I might snap up Resident Evil Revelations 2 from the Play Together promotion (on until the 28th). I purchased the first one, and I'm really enjoying it. Nothing really from the above though. May grab a few Sega Sales stuff but nothing major. All good, big backlog; plenty to play; money to save. I can tell you I won't be downloading Stein's Gate. £53! New scenes or no new scenes, that's about 9 times the price I paid on PSN. But I did d/l Putty Pals, The Bug Butcher (disappointment) and ATOMIK: RunGunJumpGun yesterday. PS. error on the BlazeRush price. Thinking about getting Old Man's Journey. It's not my usual type of game. Smite for free. Worth a try. Nothing for me this week. I play Tales of Vesperia and FF IX at the moment. that's the price in the press release, so we're going with that for now Despite how much I would like Steins gate, That’s a pretty absurd price for a digital copy. I’ve been waiting on a price drop for the Sega mega drive collection though, So I might pick that up. The digital copy is priced that high because it's a full retail release so it's the same as the physical price. I'll pick up The Bunker.
Isn't Mutant League Football just a price drop? The game has been out for ages. The Count Lucanor is a fantastic game, a bargain for £2.99. But it’s £50 on Game and Shopto. Fair enough, but it's £10.79 on the UK eshop fyi. Right, fair enough. Didn't realise that the physical had that price point as importing from the UK was a bit on the expensive side compared to usual. Weird that it's more in the eShop than RRP then, wonder what the reasoning behind that is as it should be the same. It's $90 (AUD) here which is the Breath of the Wild price point but no physical copy to compare it to. Toying with the idea of Shining Resonance: Refrain, especially with my physical copy of Ys VIII being lost in the limbo of postal service... Hi is it deliberate that the link for the Smite review actually links to Trials Rising? Nothing for me this week.
My backlog won't take a break, though. Going to pick Undertale and, maybe, Valkyria Chronicles at 50% off. Both will be TRIPLE dips, such is the power of the Switch
I tried the Trials game last night but it wouldn't load past 80%, it would then freeze and kick me off saying no internet connection :/
Played Smite - well played the tutorial and deleted it. I like Paladins but not this! Importing Phoenix Wright Trilogy, Rad Rodgers, and Scribblenauts double pack.
Resi Revelations 2 is a great game, I've played and completed the first on the 3DS and loved it.
Was a little dubious for some reason about the second game - think it had something to do with the 23gig download and at the time i didn't have a SD card.
As soon as i bought an SD card i bought the game and I'm loving it thanks, sorted! So in Europe Sega Ages games get discounted too. Anyway I'm going to wait next time because in Mexico (the cheapest) they are discounted soon after they get released, no rush buying. So they can put on sale more than 2 Wii U games. Interesting. Still waiting for Shantae Risky's Revenge. Not even once discounted since December 2017. The Trials Rising Open Beta started today, that's why it didn't work yesterday. Try it again. , I certainly will try it again, thanks for the heads up Picked up ff9 and eyeing that genesis pack discount Valkyria Chronicles at 50% off hell yeah!!!! Who on Earth will pick up ice climber at this point? cool, thanks! Nothing until Yoshi. Utter trash! Let's hope the special offers are worth it? I'd love for them to put some decent stuff on sale in the 3DS eShop instead of the constant shovelware tripe. Seriously, I NEVER see why WiiU doesn't get better discounts. Either to persuade people to switch back focus to the WiiU or a thank you to those of us who still have theirs and haven't given up. Even VC games. Valkyrie Chronicles isn't 50% off for me (UK)....I was hoping sonic 1 and 2 3d would be on sale on 3ds due to all these sega discounts as I missed the sonic day promotion a while back Is that a new mutant league game? I bought Gigantic Army and Devil Engine. I might get that genesis collection now that its on sale, maybe some other Sega stuff too. I REALLY want Steins:Gate but that price is too high.
Guess I'll go back to Warframe, Civ VI and Monster Hunter. I highly recommend Valkyria Chronicles for €9.99. That is an excellent WWII 3D Fire Emblem. Buy it! good (or is it bad?) to know that I'm not alone, I hope we get it though as I've been waiting for a sale on it that isn't tied to buying VC4 Shame there's no review of Crayola Scoot, it looks like quite a good game. I wouldn't recommend the sega classic collection, the emulation is better than atgames consoles (if you have those in Oz?) But there's input delay making games like sonic unplayable, not sure how much an effect it would have on shining force as I've never played it. Unfortunately the NL review was inaccurate for this game, maybe it was rushed. Possibly buy it so you "own" the games and then download and play them on a decent emulator on PC or raspberry pi? Also I'd like to know when the fighterz pass is going to go on sale?! Been waiting a long time for that one... Toying with the idea of Shining Resonance: Refrain, especially with my physical copy of Ys VIII being lost in the limbo of postal service... Please proof your articles, Nintendolife. I was excited for the Shining Resonance: Refrain at a discount to later hop into the ehsop and be utterly dissappointed,. It's not the end of the world, but some fact checking would be appreciated greatly. Edit: And I have to eat my words, seems the sale started on Friday, with that I at least implore you to account for that. Still not seeing this sale live yet. Any idea on start date? most items are already listed, but Sega ones aren't. Might appear anytime between now and next Thursday, I suppose; maybe on the weekend itself? The banner saga games haven’t updated their price either. heads-up if needed: Sega sale has started today after all. Definitely interested in The Journey Down Trilogy, but I'm only really buying things on sale because there's so much I already have to play and not enough time to play it all. Goes on the list.
