Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Reveals QoL Updates Coming Later This Month Nintendo Life More shortcut loadouts and armour lock by Share: on Last week, Capcom announced its second free title update for would be arriving in "late" September. Apart from the addition of the Flaming Espinas and several other monsters, the DLC will also be receiving some enhancements in other areas. As showcased by the official Monster Hunter Twitter account, this update will also be adding some quality of life improvements. Firstly, shortcut loadouts will be increased to eight, and players will now also be able to lock their armour, to prevent it from being "accidentally" sold. Monster Hunter really is up there in the elite pool at the top of the whole industry. Shortcut loadouts are exciting. I’m a major hoarder though so I literally don’t sell anything. Im a little burn out on monster hunter at the moment but I’ll probably get this down the line I only use one shortcut loadout and there's a 0% chance of me getting rid of my equipment by accident so these additions don't do anything for me but interested to see what else they add. Game was such a disappointment and a huge step down when compared to MHW, that I never bothered to pay for the expansion. I wish they'd let us rename our talismans. Game is absolute fire and Sunbreak may well go down as the single greatest expansion of any video game of all time. They just keep raising the bar, adding more and more, refining and polishing... This is easily, without question, my favorite video game of all time. another bad take. It's actually a step up. The clutch claw sucked, world combat slow by comparison, and rise has dogs. The endemic life is better, the maps are more vertical. Literally the only thing world has over Rise is graphics and gameplay will always be superior to graphics. Your opinion is so bad and completely wrong it's funny as hell. Your talking as this is fact, i don't agree with him but his opinion is no more wrong then yours. even though my opinion is right. The only thing world has over rise is graphics. And Gameplay will always be better and more important than graphics. What's the point of a good looking game if it's not fun or plays like dog dookie? Except your opinion on World is subjective not a fact and you know what before Sunbreak released World in my opinion was better then Rise, it had more content even before Iceborne, was more challenging and had more depth to its combat.

It's literally the expansion, so I'm actually right. The only thing world has over rise is the visuals. you can't compare rise to world solely on content. World was finished before rise was even out, so of course rise had less content because it wasn't finished unlike world or the iceborne expansion. Also rise actually has more depth to combat in the form of silkbind moves. No, an expansion is not part of the base game. Just like Sunbreak is not a part of the base Rise. I own Rise, but I cannot play any of the Sunbreak content, because they are not the same thing. Rise prior to Sunbreak has less content then World did prior to Iceborne. Silkbind moves are fun but there's a reason the community hopes they're dropped for the next game as they just make the game too easy. Wait... People sell armor? Crazy
That's a fact actually is, to play rise but not sunbreak or world but not iceborne is to experience only half of the content. again you can't compare a finished game to a non-finished game. Technically, you can compare base World to Rise, and in that there were I believe 61 monsters to hunt in Rise, compared to 54 in World. So technically...Rise is the bigger game hunting/creature wise. Both the Iceborne and Sunbreak expansions really upped the total monsters to hunt in each game, but at base levels...Rise is the larger game, though with a less "detailed" world than World. The stories between the two I would say are comparable, though I liked how the narrative played out better in World. Rise prior to Sunbreak and World prior to Iceborne are finished games and World had more content. Sunbreak/Iceborne are not finishing the games they're adding and expanding the games hence why their called expansions. Prior to World if you wanted that new content you had buy a whole new game Rise had more monsters but World had more content. Investigations, more and better events, an actual Endgame, Goldey Locks, and a larger story. Once the credits roll on Rise and you built the easily acquired build you want there's very little to keep playing beyond the odd events or two. I don't know, I think that's debatable. Investigations aren't exactly "necessary", as you can still fight the same monsters on hunts/arena fights/events to get the same parts. The story I don't know if I'd say was "larger", but maybe more "grander" in scope than Rise, which I already said I thought was a better story overall. There IS an endgame with Rise, and its really the same as in ALL MH games: hunt, craft, design builds, fashion hunting, etc. It just didn't feel the same as in World. I think the true endgame to both games came with their expansions. Personally, I prefer the way the weapons play in Rise/Sunbreak (especially bow, which is my main) than I do in World. There is much better weapon/armor design diversity in Rise than in World. World suffers greatly from generic weapons and some rather "meh" armor designs.
