Two Point Hospital Infects Consoles On February 25 2020
Two Point Hospital will be heading to consoles on February 25, 2020. After getting hit with a delay, is back on track for its console debut. Earlier this morning, Two Point Studios announced that its throwback management sim would be infecting PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on February 25, 2020. It simply needed some time to rest and recuperate after a strenuous development cycle. To make up for the delay, the console port will contain the PC's versions first two DLC packs. These are the "Bigfoot" and "Pebberley Island" campaigns that include a few extra scenarios for you to mess around with. It's not substantial, but they are fun nonetheless. If that wasn't enough, the Xbox One version will be joining the excellent selection of titles on Xbox Game Pass. Two Point Studios hasn't confirmed if it will launch day and date with the full release, but those with an active subscription can pretend to play doctor without shelling out for a license...a game license...this joke has fallen flat. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY If you aren't keen on grabbing a digital copy (which is currently up for pre-order on PS4 and Xbox One), fret not! A physical edition will be released alongside its digital counterpart. These will be available from many fine retailers across the globe. You may contract a disease getting one, but then you'll have the perfect game to take your mind off of your illness. Two Point Hospital was truly a fun surprise when it released in 2018. A reimagining of Bullfrog's wonderful Theme Hospital, the title accurately captured the joy that old-school management sims constantly evoked. Funny diseases, goofy characters, and completely customization of every room: Two Point Hospital really is a blast. It'll be interesting to see how the control scheme has been adapted for consoles. Traditionally speaking, management games do not fare well on consoles. Frontier Developments seems to have done well with Jurassic World Evolution and is even planning on bringing Planet Coaster to consoles. If that studio can, so can Two Point Studios. If you don't care to wait for the console versions, you can currently grab the game on PC for $35. The budget pricing is incredibly nice, especially since it makes grabbing DLC packs all the more tantilizing. Source:
