Once the fight was booked, the Tiger Muay Thai member continued his trash talk by saying that he is levels above 'Hands of Stone' in terms of skill. The Brazilian-born athlete was recently asked about his trash-talking ways. Is it a way to get in his opponent's head? No, Andrade explained that he really is that sure of himself, and he is just saying what he feels is true. Fabricio Andrade explained in an interview with ONE Championship: "I believe trash talk is necessary. I think it all shows my confidence. Everything I say is what's in my head. And when I trash talk, I also see my opponents' confidence level. They don't say the same thing, so I believe they are not as confident as I am. And that gives me a sense of what's going to happen in the fight."
