Silva was supposed to face 'GSP' in a super fight at UFC 183 in 2015. The French-Canadian fighter, however, declined as he had other commitments and was still concerned about the widespread use of performance-enhancing drugs in the sport. Notably, Silva's unanimous decision win over Nick Diaz at UFC 183 was overturned to a no-contest as 'The Spider' tested positive for PEDs. The Nevada Athletic Commission suspended 'The Spider' for a year following the drug tests. He was also docked his entire $200,000 win bonus and 30% of his $600,000 show money. Georges St-Pierre on why Anderson Silva is not yet a UFC Hall of Famer

Former two-division champion Georges St-Pierre has given his thoughts on why Anderson Silva is yet to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. Despite being considered a GOAT in the sport of MMA, the UFC HOF eludes Silva. Giving his opinion on 'The Spider', St-Pierre said: "Because maybe he's an active fighter, they [UFC] wait for him to really calm down and not, you know, who knows. Maybe I don't know if there's a few boxing fights and then Dana's like, 'Hell, I want to pay you and to come back.' Maybe they want to wait a little bit and he deserves, arguably, the greatest fighter of all time. He deserves a place in the Hall of Fame."
