While the Prisoner starting class begins with a regular Thrusting Sword in the Estoc, players that what a similar feeling weapon that simply hits harder and reaches farther will want to find the heavy variant of the weapon class. The first weapon that falls under the Heavy Thrusting Sword class in the game is the Great Epee, a large rapier that, as the description says, was “used in life or death duels.” Players that want to find the weapon will need to know where to find it. This guide will tell players where and how to get the Great Epee in Elden Ring. How to Get the Great Epee In Elden Ring
The Great Epee can be found early on in your journey through the Lands Between. Head to the southern area of the starting region, Limgrave. Near the Forlorn Hound Evergaol, where you fight Bloodhound Knight Darriwil, there is a small campsite where you will be able to find the Great Epee. Starting from the Agheel Lake South Site of Grace, head directly to the east and up the hill to find the small camp. Near the entrance of the camp is a chest, which is where you will find the Great Epee.

The Great Epee comes with the common Weapon Skill Thrust, which sees the player lunging forward with a strong, focused attack. The weapon requires players to have level 15 Strength and a level 16 Dexterity in order to wield the Heavy Thrusting Sword properly.
