India beat Australia by 100 runs in their first match This was serious pace from our boys. Solid beginning beating the Aussies by 100 runs. May the hunger continue and we carry the momentum. - Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) Great all- round performance by the young lads. Really a delight to watch the passion. An emphatic win to start the campaign. Keep it up boys - VVS Laxman (@VVSLaxman281) Congratulations India. A really comprehensive beginning. Nagarkoti and Mavi very impressive and the batting looking really formidable as well. Great start - Mohammad Kaif (@MohammadKaif) Ganguly Dravid and Greg Chappell all present at the Under-19 world cup. What a reunion.- dorku (@Dorkstar) A good batting performance from the young Indian . 329 the target for Australia to chase- Anjum Chopra (@chopraanjum) Judging by the way things are going for Glenn Maxwell these days, that Shiva dismissal would have more suited him.- Suneer (@suneerchowdhary) Unbelievable catching from Australia. Chappells going to be sending them to do some homework. 10 laps of the ground or something.- Suneer (@suneerchowdhary) Combination of good bowling and what looks like a slowish pitch making India struggle for runs towards the end.- Suneer (@suneerchowdhary) Sourav Ganguly in the commentary box, Rahul Dravid, the coach of India amd Steve Waugh watching his son from the stands....brilliant.. - Indranil Roy (@indraroy) Austin Waugh looks so much like dad Waugh! Especially in his younger days.- Suneer (@suneerchowdhary) So at the moment Sourav Ganguly, Greg Chappell and Rahul Dravid are at the same place. Hmmmmm - Gaurav Kalra (@gauravkalra75) The moment when an youngster plays text book straight drive they are dragged to compare with Sachin Tendulkar...- Broken Pundit (@Brokenpundit) Skipper Shaw is such a delight, expecting piles of runs. Keep going, . Let’s do it young guns, FTW!- Adlee Sharon (@adlee_sharon) Manjot c Sangha b Uppal...just out of a domestic game in India.- Suneer (@suneerchowdhary) Although could’ve had two tons there, good start for .- Adlee Sharon (@adlee_sharon) Prithvi Shaw looks so special. Brilliant 94 and a really solid start for India. Cheering for the boys, for many of whom this is a significant event in their endeavour to be India Cricketers. - Mohammad Kaif (@MohammadKaif) The little fellows from India have started the campaign in great style with openers Shah and Kalra putting up 146 off 25 overs against Australia..- wv raman (@wvraman) Insightful as always from excellent analysis of Prithvi Shaw. Refreshing commentary. - Boria Majumdar (@BoriaMajumdar) Manjot & Prithvi going quite strong..Tho Prithvi is in all mood to gift his wicket by playing unwanted shots & No..M not jinxing - 18 (@Crichipster) For those looking to see what the future of Indian cricket looks like, is batting like a beaut in the under 19 opener.- Dr Roshan R (@pythoroshan) Load More
