PRESENTED BY SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- North Dakota State remained the unanimous No. 1 selection in the FCS Coaches' poll, while Montana State and Towson climb to the No. 2 and No. 3 positions in the rankings, respectively. The Bison (650 points) received all 26 first-place votes for the third week in a row following their bye week. Montana State received 613 points to move to No. 2 after a 26-0 shutout of Colorado Mesa on Saturday. Towson also moved up this week, settling in at No. 3 with 582 points. The Tigers dropped Delaware State 49-7 on Saturday to move to 3-0 in 2013. FCS COACHES' POLL • Eastern Washington fell to fourth following a 33-21 setback to Toledo, while Sam Houston State (556) and South Dakota State (526) remained idle at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively. Northern Iowa is No. 7 with 479 points, followed by Wofford (447), who topped Southern Conference rival Georgia Southern to move to 2-1 this season. New Hampshire (420) and Eastern Illinois (415) round out the top 10. Montana jumped four spots in the poll to No. 11, receiving 367 points. Stony Brook moved up one spot to 12th despite losing to Buffalo 26-23 in five overtimes, while McNeese State jumped five spots in the rankings to No. 13. Central Arkansas fell from No. 7 to No. 14 after losing a 24-23 heartbreaker to Tennessee-Martin. Coastal Carolina (245) is No. 15 after handling Eastern Kentucky 51-32 on Saturday, followed by James Madison (222) and Bethune-Cookman (214) at No. 16 and No. 17, respectively. Lehigh is No. 18 after receiving 211 points this week and Cal Poly settles in at No. 19, getting 194 points. Richmond fell to No. 20 after a 12-10 loss to Gardner-Webb, notching 140 points. Fordham (128) makes its debut in the rankings at No. 21, with Northern Arizona and Villanova both receiving 100 points to tie at No. 22. Illinois State (83) and Maine (61) round out the poll. Youngstown State and Eastern Kentucky fell from the rankings after being ranked No. 23 and No. 25, respectively, last week.
