You can make Brittle Whetstone from Sap and Larva Spike. This is the easiest method you have if you are starting the game. Here is how to do it. Find Sap near Oak trees or on the side of Twings. Find Larva Spikes by defeating Larva Bugs. This might be tricky, and we recommend you have the advanced gear to defeat Larva Bug. Once you have both of these items, go to the workstation and use them in any weapon you need to upgrade. Also, there is a second option to make Brittle Whetstone in Grounded. You can also make it from Brittle Quartzite Shards. But this material is a little hard to obtain. You can harvest Brittle Quartzite Shards from large Brittle Quartzite nodes, or there are places you can find a small amount of them from the ground. However, they have located undergrounds. The best place to locate them is Red Ant Hill. Here is how to do it. Head to the Red Ant Hill. Make sure you bring a lot of resources, such as a Torch, Advance Gear, and Pebblet Hammer, to break them out. Find large nodes of Brittle Quartzite and mine them with your Pebblet Hammer.
