On Saturday, July 24, AARP Massachusetts, and will join forces in support of Create the Good to work on the home of an 80-year old disabled widow. Recently discharged from the hospital after a fall, this homeowner has always taken great pride in her yard and gardens, but has been unable to manage the work in recent years.
Lend a hand
Volunteers at all skill levels are encouraged to join us on this day of service. Even if your thumbs are anything but green, there is so much you can do to make a difference.
Volunteers will:
remove overgrown shrubs and bushes
cut grass
trim trees
spread landscaping mulch
