78 percent support Nebraska establishing a state-funded Prescription Drug Assistance Program for persons needing help with their medication costs even if they themselves might not be eligible for benefits under the program
63 percent feel creating such a program should be a top or high priority for the Nebraska Legislature
79 percent support financing the program's cost through resources available in the Health Care Trust Fund, and 64 percent favor financing the program through a 30 cents-a- pack increase in the cigarette tax
