YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Beauty Is this mask the future of wrinkle-reducing technology By You Magazine - September 12, 2018 These days, it seems there’s a new beauty invention every week. But nothing has caught our attention quite so quickly as this latest, high tech solution for ageing skin (and before you ask, no, there’s not a needle in sight). We know, very revolutionary. So what is exactly is this new gadget all about? Well, leading US doctor-owned brand, Dr. Dennis Gross, have launched a new beauty device named the SpectraLite EyeCare Pro – a LED light eye mask that promises to banish crow’s feet, fine lines and wrinkles. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare (@drdennisgross) Here’s how it works: the device issues heat-free red light over the eye region on the inside of the mask so the lines are tackled all the way around. These red lights then stimulate collagen within the skin which, as a result, soften and diminish fine lines and wrinkles. Avid skincare enthusiasts will note that the SpectraLite EyeCare Pro is somewhat reminiscent of a similar product launched by Neutrogena last year. The brand’s Visibly Clear Light Therapy Acne Mask became a huge hit, working wonders for acne prone skin, but also appeasing shoppers with its affordable retail price of £39.99. The device features a tool that can transform the red LED light to a blue LED light (as used in the Neutrogena mask) which kills off skin bacteria and helps get rid of acne – all with the simple flick of a switch. Genius. However, the Dr. Dennis product doesn’t come cheap. Available to UK customers now via the Cult Beauty website, the SpectraLite EyeCare Pro will cost you £168 with free shipping. But considering it’s apparently revolutionary powers, it could be a small price to pay.
