YOU Magazine Fashion Beauty Celebrity Health Life Relationships Horoscopes Food Interiors Travel Home Beauty This face cream has over 1 000 5-star reviews and costs less than £22 By You Magazine - December 2, 2020 Few skincare products amass a truly widespread appeal, mainly due to the fact that we all have different skin types and skincare concerns, but occasionally one slips through the net that manages to seemingly please nearly everyone. Instagram/@wakeskincare One such product is Wake Skincare’s Face Cream. Only shoppable online via their own website and Amazon, you’d be forgiven for having never heard of this independent brand, but it’s beginning to garner something of a cult following for its affordable, sustainably packaged, cruelty-free, natural formula products – targeted at a constantly switched-on generation who wear their tiredness on their faces (raises hands). We’ve waxed lyrical before about Wake’s eye gel (which sells one every minute), but now it’s time to talk about their face cream. Not ones to beat around the bush with convoluted, jargon-filled, paragraph-long product names, it is simply called: Face Cream. We love it already. Instagram/@wakeskincare It’s a lightweight formula, but it doesn’t hold back on its moisturising properties, with hyaluronic acid for ultimate plumping, glycerine, another highly moisturising ingredient, and vitamin E, which is always good for skin thanks to its hydrating properties and ability to reduce the appearance of acne scars and generally improve skin texture. It also works to reduce blemishes caused by a non-stop lifestyle and targets fine lines that result from irregular sleeping patterns. Wake Skincare Face Cream, £21.98, Wake Skincare If you find it hard to believe you can get all that for just £21.98, maybe the reviews will swing you. ‘A really nice light moisturiser. The packaging is really quite heavy and feels really high quality, I like the chrome effect lid, it looks lovely on my dressing table. The cream itself has a very slight floral scent but this doesn’t linger once rubbed in so for those sensitive to smells it won’t be a problem. I have oily skin and I’m particularly fussy about my face creams but this felt great and hydrating without causing me to get oily. I’m really impressed,’ said one happy shopper. Another even claimed that using Wake Face Cream got them student discount in a shop and comments on how they hadn’t aged from people they hadn’t seen in years: ‘So I am now in my 40’s (hmmm) and the lines and wrinkles are well and truly taking shape! I am always open to trying new face creams that promise to rewind the clock so thought I would give this a go,’ they wrote. ‘I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and I love it! This may be coincidence but I was given student discount in a shop (WOW) and whilst at a wedding reception seeing folk I haven’t seen in 20+ years, more than one person commented on how I haven’t aged! (Winner!!!!)’ RELATED ARTICLESMORE FROM AUTHOR You could get paid to test Liberty’ s Beauty Advent Calendar People are obsessed with this Revlon hair drying tool A new drop of Boots Star Gifts has landed for Christmas 2022 Popular in Beauty 8 of the best sets of press-on nails to see you July 6, 2020 The nail polish worn by Meghan Markle on her wedding day July 27, 2020 Holly Willoughby’ s go-to eye serum is a £6 bargain August 18, 2020 John Lewis has confirmed the line-up for the next Virtual Beauty September 10, 2020 Lush just added to its bestselling Sleepy range with a dreamy September 30, 2020 These are the UK s favourite fragrances starting from just £8 June 22, 2022 These are the bestselling fragrances at Boots right now November 18, 2020 Olay’ s bestselling Regenerist face cream is better than half price on March 8, 2022 This is the £4 90 concealer Holly Willoughby uses to transform her January 20, 2021 Edwina Ings-Chambers Big love for these little labels February 14, 2021 Popular CategoriesFood2704Life2496Fashion2240Beauty1738Celebrity1261Interiors684 Sign up for YOUMail Thanks for subscribing Please check your email to confirm (If you don't see the email, check the spam box) Fashion Beauty Celebrity Life Food Privacy & Cookies T&C Copyright 2022 - YOU Magazine.
