The slices are the latest Marmite-infused addition to the food hall, and have the ability to transform your usual sandwich, toastie, jacket potato or even burger into a whole new flavourful experience. Instagram/M&S Announcing the arrival of the revolutionary product on its Instagram account, M&S wrote: ‘Marmite meets melty cheese? Yes please! Our new and exclusive Marmite cheese slices are delicious melted on top of burgers, and they make AMAZING toasties.’ The slices are made with Barbers cheddar, which gives them a ’rounded and rich flavour and a firm creamy texture’, while the Marmite introduces its signature depth of umami, that unexplainable yet delicious note that with elevate even the simplest of recipes to the next level. M&S Marmite Cheese Slices, £2.75 for 6, M&S The cheese launch comes after the success of the initial M&S Marmite range this spring, an offering which boasts Marmite butter, Marmite cream cheese and Marmite cheese twists – all of which have fast become customer favourites. At the time, April Preston, Director of Product Development said of the project: ‘Partnering with an iconic and loved brand like Marmite is the stuff dreams are made of, so when the opportunity arose to collaborate with them on these new and innovative products, we knew the end result was going to be delicious.’ The Marmite cheese twists that launched back in March.
