But just when you thought the edit – complete with delights like the famous glitter gin snow globe and Percymas pies – couldn’t possibly be topped, they go and unveil Mini Marmite Cheesy Crumpets, the canapés we never knew we needed, but now can’t wait to scoff. Ever since M&S launched its first branded Marmite range, comprising Marmite butter, Marmite cream cheese and Marmite cheese twists, back in March, the two household names have become a joint savoury snacking powerhouse, giving us lots of new creative (and more to the point, delicious) ways to get our Marmite fix. Image: M&S Mini Marmite Cheesy Crumpets, £7 for a pack of 10, M&S In October, things went to another level yet again with the arrival of Marmite cheese slices, the ideal toppers for toast, a jacket potato or even a burger – and now the new Mini Marmite Cheesy Crumpets have been revealed, it seems there’s no stopping the M&S Marmite trend. ‘This year, fans all over the country have gone wild for the exclusive collaboration between M&S and the much loved (or hated) Marmite, with comments such as: “A dream come true” and “Oh yes, get in my belly!” for the recent launch of Marmite Cheese Slices,’ the brand says. Image: M&S ‘The mini crumpets are the fifth addition to the range and offer a light spongey crumpet, topped with a moreish mix of gooey cheese rarebit and melty Marmite. Will these mouthfuls of Marmite heaven be met with the same reaction? We certainly think so.’ The bite-size crumpets are part of the M&S party food drop, and are priced at £7 for a pack of 10, but you can also pick them up as part of the mix and match ‘4 for price of 3’ deal. As ever, Marmite haters need not apply – but if you’re a lover of the sticky black spread, the new M&S Mini Marmite Cheesy Crumpets might turn out to be the best thing you tuck into this December.
