She knows a thing or two about getting skin red carpet ready, hence why so many beauty enthusiasts hang on her every word. Her blog is full of brilliant tips and tricks on achieving perfect skin, but one nifty hack Renée swears by in particular is something everyone can so easily incorporate into their existing beauty routine. Dubbed ‘the golden minute’, it refers to the 60 second window of time straight after getting out the shower, when ‘your bare skin is most vulnerable to dehydration through a process called osmosis,’ Renée explains. ‘You have a 60-second window before moisture evaporation will occur.’ Getty Images The dermatologist recommends taking advantage of this valuable short window of time to apply a product that will lock in moisture. ‘After washing the face and patting dry with a towel… Apply a toner that will keep that moisture in before applying serum or moisturiser.’ Doing this will apparently ensure your skin stays hydrated and glowy all day long.
