The 33-year-old requested a trade more than a month ago, but interest from teams has cooled down due to the Nets' lofty demands. As a result, KD could end up playing for the Nets next season. First Things First co-host Chris Broussard shot down the possibility of Durant leaving Brooklyn. He acted out what Kevin Durant's statement would be to owner Joe Tsai when they met this week. Although his performances have been stellar, he hasn't played more than 60 games in the past two seasons. This is another reason why teams are a bit reluctant to make a trade for the former MVP. Broussard believes Durant is now in a position to send his doubters a message by staying with the Nets and leading them to success.
