Every year, the beloved retailer releases a number of festive food offerings that fly off the shelves daily. And there’s some great news for fans of the legendary Christmas sandwich: it’s now available to buy in store. The original Turkey Feast Sandwich was rolled out yesterday (30 October), along with the rest of the range. There are also some new additions this year (including a new vegan option) listed below: Plant Kitchen Nutcracker Sandwich, £3.50: ‘Layers of sweet potato, chestnut & cranberry roast, butternut squash, cranberry chutney, pistachios and caramelised pecans with an almond butter vegan mayo dressing.’ Steak & Peppercorn Sauce Sandwich, £3.50: ‘Rare roast beef with a beef stock mayo and punchy peppercorn sauce, caramelised onions and rocket in white onion bread.’ Yule Hog Roll, £3.50: ‘A brioche sub roll filled with British pulled pork, onion mayo, apple sauce, pork, sage & onion stuffing, rocket and crispy onions.’ These three newbies join the established line up: Turkey Feast Sandwich, £3.50 (with even more turkey, stuffing and mayo this year!) Glazed Gammon Hand Cooked Crisps, £0.85 The day before the range hit stores, TV presenter and member of the M&S celebrity tasting panel, Emma Willis, went to the Shelter Emergency Helpline in Sheffield, to give the team there a sneak peak of the Christmas range. 5% of all sales from the M&S festive lunch range are donated to the charity each year, which is a free national helpline that helps those with issues relating to housing or homelessness. Last year’s sales from the range funded 27,000 calls answered by the Shelter Emergency Helpline.
