Latest GTA Online Update Turns Game Into A Racing Sim 28 February 2020 by Lara Jackson GTA Online is the gift that keeps on giving. The Diamond Casino and Resort update that launched last year breathed more life into the game than ever before, and it seems that Rockstar Games has no plans to slow down. The iconic game has just received a brand-new content update, and it’s introduced a lot of exciting mechanics into the mix. Those who are fans of racing sims are going to be particularly pleased with the offerings, as GTA Online is now basically a giant racing sim. Credit: Rockstar Games Named Open Wheel Racing, the update introduces a whole two-wheel racing game, featuring two new open-wheel vehicles and seven tracks.ADVERT ADVERT Rockstar has said of Open Wheel Racing: “The future of competitive motorsport has arrived, and it’s in a hurry. Two brand new open-wheel ultra-performance vehicles. Seven high-speed tracks. Dozens of split-second decisions, from the tires you use, to whether you take that all-important pit stop.
