Projects Computer Communications In the years 1988−1994, venture capitalist and historian James L. Pelkey traveled around the world, conducting a total of 81 interviews as research for his hypertext book, A History of Computer Communications: 1968-1988. Projects History of FORTRAN The FORTRAN History Project preserves source code, design documents, and other materials around the original IBM 704 FORTRAN/FORTRAN II compiler.
