Kevin Koo M D M P H , is a urologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of urinary stone disease. His clinical interests include: Endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery for urinary stones Medical and metabolic management of urinary stone disease Staghorn calculus Cystinuria Transplant kidney stones Dr. Koo maintains an active research program evaluating new technologies that can enhance surgeon and patient safety and strengthen trainee performance. He participates in the clinical education of students, residents, and fellows and conducts grant-funded education scholarship. Dr. Koo is also a nationally recognized leader in health policy and advocacy and previously served as a fellow at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
