This Is How You Pick Up A Christmas Tree

As one of the founders of Girardo & Co., which sells classic sports and racing cars, he is able to get up close and personal with some of the world's most legendary cars. To give you a taste, currently listed for sale on their website is a 1978 Porsche 935 K3, a 1976 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale, a 1960 Aston Martin DB4 GT, and a 1980 BMW M1. And if this isn't enough to convince you that you should be jealous of Girardo, he also gets to star in the company's promotional videos, and their recently posted Christmas special is a stunner. In the video, you can catch a glimpse of a myriad of jaw-dropping vehicles: a classic Aston Martin DB-car, an orange Stratos, what appears to be a Rothmans-liveried Porsche 962 Le Mans racer, several classic Ferraris, and a brand-new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. But the real star of the show is a 1997 Subaru WRC97, which Girardo spends the majority of the video drifting about on a dirt track. The Impreza-based rally car was originally driven by icon Colin McRae, who used it to conquer the 1997 Safari Rally in Kenya. He also won rallies in France, Italy, Australia, and Great Britain that year en route to a second-place finish in the WRC standings. In the video, Girardo instead uses the WRC97 to pick up a last minute Christmas tree, speeding around the dirt track until he reaches a suitable evergreen. After he downs it with an axe, he fixes it atop the Subaru's roof before heading back to the office. While blitzing along the rally course he catches some air and splashes through a puddle, before getting caught up in traffic one he reaches town. Check out the full video above. Subaru
