Rolls-Royce Phantom Pimped By Mansory

Nov. 03, 2018 3:10 PM ET by Martin Bigg Tuning / 7 Comments Does the Rolls-Royce Phantom really need more luxury? When you think of ultra-luxury cars, Rolls-Royce is likely to be the first automaker that pops into your mind. For decades, the Phantom has remained the last word in automotive luxury. Rolls-Royce also offers a comprehensive selection of customization options, which means every example that leaves the factory is bespoke. But that hasn't stopped aftermarket tuners from attempting to make it even more opulent. Enter tuning company Mansory, which has pimped out the all-new Phantom VII with more luxury and more potent performance. Mansory Starting with the exterior, it's safe to say the tuner's new add-on parts are going to divide opinion. They give the Phantom more presence at the expense of elegance. Mansory has fitted a new front apron with an integrated extended grille that looks ginormous. The rear has also received some subtle body components that "make the overall appearance more noble" according to the tuner. Additional side skirts, a restrained spoiler lip and a new rear apron with a diffuser and double sports exhaust system emphasize the increase in performance. Under the hood, the Phantom's twin-turbocharged V12 has been tuned to produce 602 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque, up from the 563 hp and 663 lb-ft in the standard Phantom. The luxury sedan also rides on massive 24-inch forged wheels wrapped in high-performance tires. Mansory's modified Phantom is available in a variety of two-tone finishes including Bushukan yellow, which is "named after the citron fruit which is also known as Buddha's hand as a Bushukan," according to the tuner. "In China the fruit represents happiness, contentment and a long life. In addition, it conveys the exclusive status of the car." Mansory Mansory Mansory
