Just like Snapchat, Instagram, and other platforms, TikTok’s stories will only last 24 hours before being deleted. TikTok Stories also will have similar features to other platforms, such as the ability to react or comment on a story and go to a user’s profile directly from their story. In addition, the Verge reports that users can add captions, music, and text to their Stories. However, unlike Instagram or Snapchat Stories, TikTok will only let you post videos, not still photos. Some TikTok users already reportedly have access to TikTok Stories, but there are no details on how long the test will last and if the feature will become a permanent mainstay on the app. Just like Snapchat, Instagram, and other platforms, TikTok’s stories will only last 24 hours before being deleted. While a stories feature has been successful for many platforms, some haven’t had as much luck with it.
