How to Use Bixby With Spotify

Download Spotify. On phone, select Bixby key. Swipe left to Manage Apps > Spotify > Connect Accounts.Go to Settings > Advanced features. Turn on the toggle next to Bixby Routines > select Bixby Routines.Choose a routine or select the plus sign (+) for a new routine. Name it and enter the actions for the routine. How to Link Bixby to Control Spotify
Spotify has been Samsung's go-to music provider since 2018. When you set up a new Samsung device, you're prompted to add your Spotify login details. In most cases, there's no need to download an app. Because of the Samsung-Spotify alliance, it's easy to control Spotify using Bixby, Samsung's smart assistant. Download Spotify to your Samsung device if it is not already present. Spotify is preinstalled on most Samsung devices. Select the Bixby key (a button on the side of the Samsung phone) to open Bixby Assistant Home. On the Note10, press and hold the Side Key to launch Bixby Voice. Swipe left to Manage apps. Select Spotify and then select Connect Accounts. Log in or sign up for a Spotify account and continue to allow access. Your Spotify account is now linked with Bixby. You can ask the virtual assistant to play any content that exists on Spotify. How to Use Spotify With a Bixby Routine
Routines direct Bixby to perform certain repetitive tasks through specified triggers. For example, you can set up a Routine that opens Spotify and begins playing a playlist as soon as you connect to your car's Bluetooth. Bixby Routines are not available on some older Samsung devices. Go to Settings > Advanced features. Toggle on the Bixby Routines switch. Select Bixby Routines to open the options. Select the plus sign ( + ) to set up a new Routine. Name your new Routine. For example, call it Morning Playlist. Add a trigger to the Routine. For example, select the car's Bluetooth connection from the list. Select Next, then select the plus sign ( + ). For your Then action, select Play music, then select Spotify from the list. Now, as soon as you connect to your car's Bluetooth, Bixby tells Spotify to play your Morning Playlist.
