Here's how to apply a reaction to a post: Pick a post that you want to react to. The original Like reaction remains below every post. To activate more reactions, hover the mouse over the Like icon without clicking it. A pop-up box of reactions appears above it. Click one of the seven reactions. (Alternatively, click the Like reaction without hovering over it to like a post.) After you click a reaction, your reaction displays, only to you, below the post. To undo your reaction, click it. It reverts to the original Like icon.

How to Use Reactions in the Facebook Mobile App

If you thought using Facebook reactions was fun on the website, wait until you select them on the Facebook mobile app. To select a reaction on the app: Pick a post that you want to react to.
