Alphabet provides both Android and iOS users with a mobile app. Alternatively, you can access YouTube on your device through your web browser. Step 1. Launch the YouTube app on your mobile device or open your home page. Sign into your account if necessary Step 2. Navigate to a video of the channel you want to block. Step 3. Click on the three vertical dots you see under the video. Step 4. You will see a drop-down list of six items. Click on the Don't recommend channel.

Desktop

Alphabet does not have an official YouTube app for Windows 10 and 11. This statement is true for many other PC and their operating systems. Hence, you can use YouTube on your favourite or default browser. Step 1. Open your YouTube home page and sign into your account if necessary. Step 2. Navigate to a video of the channel you want to block. Step 3. Click on the three vertical dots you see under the video. Step 4. You will see a drop- down list of six items. Step 1. Launch the YouTube app on your mobile device or open your homepage. Sign into your account if needed. Step 2. Click on the search icon at the top right corner of your homepage. Step 3. Input the name of the channel or user, then click on search. Step 4. When you see the account, click on it to view their page. Step 5. Tap the three vertical dots at the top right of their page. Step 6. You will see a drop-down list of six items. Click on Block user.

Desktop

Step 1. Open your homepage and sign into your account if necessary. Step 2. Input the name of the channel or user in the search box at the top of your homepage, then click on search. Step 3. When you see the account, click on it to view their page. Step 4. Click on About under the banner at the top of their page. Step 5. Tap on the flag icon on the right side of their page. Step 6. You will see a drop-down list of four items. Click on Block user. Step 7. YouTube will send you a Block user prompt. Tap on SUBMIT.

Part 4 Block Channels on YouTube Kids

In 2015, YouTube Kids was released so kids could have concentrated channels and videos. However, some parents want to control the contents their kids are watching. Step 1. Open your kid's homepage on your mobile or computer. Sign into your account if necessary. Step 2. Input the name of the channel or user in the search box at the top of your homepage, then click on search. Step 3. When you see the account, click on it to view their page. Step 4. Click on the three vertical dots beside the subscribe button at the top of the page. Step 5. Tap on the Block this channel option.

Part 5 Want to Block Whole Access to YouTube
