Just seconds after it was announced that Ireland had become the first country in the world to legalise equal marriage by means of a popular vote, Billie got down on one knee in front of girlfriend Kate Stoica and popped the question at the University Sports Arena in Limerick. The 41-year-old, who doesn't use a surname, was quoted by the Irish Examiner as saying: "Kate we make a great team.
