Dina RickmanApr 22, 2015 This video from photographer Kelsey Higley was made to highlight unrealistic beauty standards. It's a composite of 126 manipulated photos of Higley that shows her altering her body to fit beauty standards, with huge eyes, big breasts, a tiny waist and a big bottom. Higley, 22, says she chose to feature in the short herself "to show my own inner conflict with beauty as I battle with the desire to look like someone else and the acceptance of my natural beauty". The film was highlighted by the Telegraph, and it's similar to a recent viral video from online fitness guru Cassey Ho which explores body shaming. In it, Ho manipulates her own body in response to comments people have made about her figure. The goal is to show that cyber-bullying and mean comments really affect people, and to think before you say something. I hope that people do the exact opposite after seeing this video.Cassey Ho After the video was made Ho also posted a selfie of her body with a photoshopped waist, legs and thigh gap on Instagram. She then re-posted the image with pictures of some of the comments, saying: What worries me is this: 1. That some people think this is real and that it should be a "goal." 2.
