His words, not ours.** In an interview with John Oliver for Last Week Tonight, the whistle-blower claimed nudity was "not actually seen as a big deal in the culture of the NSA because you see naked pictures all of the time". And in response to Oliver telling him such news would terrify many, he claimed: "Well, the good news is there’s no program named, ‘the dk pic program.' The bad news is, they are still collecting everybody’s information, including your dk pics." Oliver countered: "If the American people understood this, they would be absolutely horrified." The NSA told Last Week Tonight it did wish to comment on the claims. The agency has previously not confirmed or denied claims it looks at naked photos, instead saying it has a "professional foreign-intelligence organisation with a highly trained workforce, including brave and dedicated men and women from our armed forces".
