Matthew ChampionOct 23, 2014 The same website that spread false reports of a six-year-old girl being kidnapped by an "Asian grooming gang" is trying to spark panic by claiming a Somali immigrant with Ebola is missing in Leicester. The far-right Daily Bale - (Britons against Left-Wing Extremism) - published an entirely fictitious report that the disappearance of 32-year-old Jamal Malouf could have "catastrophic consequences" for the UK. The website previously claimed that a gang had kidnapped six-year-old Amy Hamilton and urged the public to help find her. Just like Amy and the kidnappers, Jamal Malouf does not exist, and neither does the Ebola risk, but that didn't stop at least one person putting up a poster in Leicester, and according to reports in a medical centre. Even as racist hoaxes go, it's not a very good one: Somalia is around 4,000 miles (6,500km) from the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Joshua Bonehill-Paine, who identifies as a BNP supporter on his Twitter account, is believed to be behind the Daily Bale site.
