They say pride comes before a fall so let's just say that I'm rather pleased about our multiculturalism and the way that it has inextricably woven its way into the fabric of our society.
You can meet all kinds of people here from all over the world and most of them are jolly pleased to meet you. If there is an international sporting event on, you can usually visit the nearest bar or pub - of which there are many - to support whoever is playing - it doesn't matter who you support because you can guarantee that there will be Africans, Europeans, Asians and Aussies to cheer along with.
When that's all over if you're feeling peckish, you will find a huge range of takeaways and restaurants. Have pizza with the Italians, or Szechuan Pork with the Chinese, Sushi with the Japanese, Doner Kebab with the Turks, or Jerk Chicken with the Nigerians.
It's all good and we get along great.
Sad to say that some of our picturesque villages still have the odd idiot but it's a tiny minority and most of us have more than two brain cells. If anything, maybe that makes me proud - that most of us hate the idiots as much as, if not more, than you do! Report Final score: 2points Scagsy POST #14 Simple, Joe Biden.
