It's like t-shirts: i keep a couple of new t-shirts to use when I sleep over someone's while at home i use the oldest ones. I own a few "nice" towels that i never use so, if I have guests over, I give them those to use. While everyday I use the "old" ones. You know, perfectly good towels, but maybe one is mended, one is a little discolored, one has a permanent stain from hair-dye... They're not presentable but they still function as towels. It's like t-shirts: i keep a couple of new t-shirts to use when I sleep over someone's while at home i use the oldest ones. I do think the bed looks bare without any pillows, but I can't use them, so why have something I have to remove every night and set up every morning. I got s**t to do and that is a waste of time.
