These items are a significant part of any build since they can increase HP/FP or damage skills. One of these talismans is the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia. This is a talisman that is for the really aggressive players as it will increase attack power relative to the number of attacks you land. This is a great talisman that many players will want to get their hands on, but it requires a lot of work to actually get. This guide will explain to players where and how to get the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia in Elden Ring. How To Get The Rotten Winged Sword Insignia In Elden Ring
Getting your hands on the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia is a long process that will take a majority of the game to actually complete. This is because it is a reward for one of the endings to the questline for the NPC Millicent, who you will find in several locations across the Lands Between. An in-depth guide can be found on The Nerd Stash, linked here, but this guide will provide a condensed rundown of everything you need to do in order to complete the Millicent quest. First, players will need to speak to father Gowry in Gowry’s Shack, found in Caelid to the south of Sellia. Then, defeat the boss named Commander O’Neil in the nearby swamp to get the Unalloyed Gold Needle. Return it to Gowry, reload the area and bring the needle to Millicent at the Church of the Plague. This is the start of the journey that will reward you with the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia. You will next find her at the Altus Plateau, near the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace. Head to the Shaded Castle and find the Valkyrie’s Prosthesis in the castle’s eastern tower. You will now need to kill the Godskin Apostle boss at the Windmill Village. Find both halves of the Haligtree Medallion and gain access to the Consecrated Snowfield and then the Haligtree. Make your way into Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree, and reach the area near the Drainage Channel Site of Grace. Defeat the Scarlet Rot-infused Ulcerated Tree Spirit and reload the area. There will be two summon signs in the area where you fought the Tree Spirit. One where you invade her and the other where you help her. The latter will see you joining her world in order to fend off her three sisters that are attacking her. Defeat the three of them, and you will find Millicent back in your world, slumped over a rock.
