Destiny 2 How to Earn Medallions

Posted By: Mykel Brighton: May 04, 2022In: Features, Gaming, PC, PS4, Xbox OneTags: Destiny 2, GuideNo Comments Print Email The Guardian Games are underway in Destiny 2, and players show off their favorite class when they earn medallions. We’ll show you all the ways you can earn them so you can deposit your medals on the podium.

How to Earn Medallions for Guardian Games in Destiny 2

Although the Guardian Games just began on May 3rd, you have time to hop in with your favorite class and weapon for early grinding to earn medallions. The more medallions you deposit on the podium, the more you will boost the overall standing of your class. Not only that, but you can get some sweet items as depositing also gives you a random item. But boosting the class standings is vital in the Guardian Games. How else are you going to earn that cool commemorative class statue in the Tower at the end of the event? Remember: Hunters are designated blue, Titans are red, and Warlocks have the yellow podium. For those who played the Guardian Games 2021, you’re probably familiar with all this. One thing to note, though, is that medals are referred to as medallions instead this time around. It’s not hard to earn medallions in Destiny 2. But if you want to do this all before everything ends on May 24th, you’d best get to work now. You can nab yourself Bronze (1 pt), Silver (2 pts), Gold (5 pts), and Platinum (15 pts) Medallions. Now let’s start earning these. An excellent place to start is with the Triumphs. In Destiny 2, several Triumphs can earn medallions. However, you’ll need plenty more if you want to come out on top. You can also head to Eva Levante and purchase Contender and Platinum Cards using Laurels. If you finish a Contender Card, you’ll get a gold medallion. Platinum Cards offer platinum medallions. Besides that, you can complete various activities and challenges to earn medallions.

Be sure to keep a watch on the Medallion Case. As the name implies, this holds all the medallions you earn in Destiny 2. However, it only holds so much. If you reach max capacity, any medallion you earn afterward doesn’t count and is lost. So, remember to return often to the podium to deposit your earnings. Destiny 2 is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series XS, Xbox One, and PC. Tags: Destiny 2Guide Previous
