Destiny 2 How to Complete the Shoot to Score Quest
Posted By: Sidharta F. Rasidion: May 07, 2022In: Features, Gaming, PC, PS4, Xbox OneTags: Destiny2, GuideNo Comments Print Email The “Shoot to Score” is a weekly quest that can be taken during the duration of Destiny 2‘s Guardian Games 2022 event, which runs from May 3 to 24 before Season 17. Doing this challenging Activities playlist together with your Fireteam will let you light up the Guardian Games Torches in the Tower and claim the weekly rewards. Here’s how you can do and complete the “Shoot to Score” Quest each week in Destiny 2. The “ Shoot to Score” Quest Walkthrough in Destiny 2
To unlock the “Shoot to Score” Quest in Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2022, you must first complete the “Best in Class” tutorial quest. It’s relatively straightforward but refer to our “Best in Class” guide if you need any help. After that, you can start to continue reading below. Do note that although “Shoot to Score” has 18 steps, Bungie will only unlock the rest of the steps needed to fully complete the quest during the weekends of Guardian Games 2022. 1 Start the Guardian Games Training Playlist
Start “practicing” for the Guardian Games matches in Guardian Games: Training Playlist. Just before you complete the “Best in Class” Quest, Commander Zavala will give you access to this playlist. It opens Tuesdays through Thursdays, and it can be accessed via the map menu in the Tower area. However, do not be tricked by its name! Several Guardians on the internet have been caught surprised when they had trouble completing the playlist. Just like Nightfall, this is actually a harder-difficulty version of regular Strike and Battleground Activities. 1,550 PL is the minimum amount of Power Level you’ll need to participate in the Guardian Games: Training playlist. Try farming for Powerful and Pinnacle rewards if you still need to catch up on Power Levels. It comes with dangerous modifiers like Nightfalls, including Champions, Shielded Foes, and others. What’s more, Reddit user Deadeye_Steve also pointed out (complete with the math!) that while the Match Game modifier icon won’t show up, it is actually active in all Guardian Games: Training games. Welp, tough luck, I guess. Complete it once and do the next step. 2 Do the Guardian Games Competitive Playlist
Now that the Training playlist’s over with, the game will task you with running the real deal: the Guardian Games: Competitive playlist, which unlocked for the first time on May 6. You only have a small window each week to try and complete Guardian Games: Competitive playlist since it is only available from Friday reset to Tuesday reset. This means it can only be played on: Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday “Step one of this pursuit will complete automatically when the Guardian Games: Competitive Playlist unlocks. After the completion of step one, the remaining steps of the Shoot to Score quest can only be progressed by reaching certain score thresholds in the Guardian Games Competitive Playlist. This playlist is available each week from the Friday reset to Tuesday reset.” 3 Earn Bronze in Competitive Playlist
Bronze scores threshold: 50,000 points For your first attempt, earning Bronze in Guardian Games: Competitive Playlist will unlock the Bronze Scorching Torch and its rewards in the Tower. 4 Earn Silver in Competitive Playlist
Silver scores threshold: 100,000 points Then try to score Silver to unlock the Silver Scorching Torch in the Tower. 5 Earn Gold in Competitive Playlist
Gold scores threshold: 150,000 points Afterward, get a proper Fireteam to try tackling the Gold points. If you manage to complete the playlist and earn Gold, you’ll unlock the Gold Scorching Torch and its rewards in the Tower. 6 Earn Platinum in Competitive Playlist
Platinum scores threshold: 175,000 points Lastly, you have to score Platinum. As you can expect, you will need to prepare both your gear and Fireteam coordination to get those scores. Once you’re done with it, you’ll unlock the Platinum Scorching Torch and its rewards in the Tower. You’ve completed the “Shoot to Score” Quest for the week after you’ve earned Platinum. Now all you need to do is wait until the weekly reset for a chance to rerun the quest. If you have trouble, try farming Exotic gears, Nightfall weapons, and Enhancement Prisms through the Guardian Games: Training playlist. Destiny 2 “ Shoot to Score” Quest Stuck Bug
Some people on social media and forums like Reddit have reported that despite scoring more than 175,000 points, their “Shoot to Score” progress seems to be stuck. “Shoot to Score” has 18 steps needed to be completed, but as written above, Bungie has stated that this is supposed to be a “time-gated event.” Other steps will be unlocked only during the weekends, letting you get the weekly rewards and buffs that’ll apply to next week.
