TBA TBA TBA TBA Is The Trespasser Coming Back
Not sure but here is a screenshot of it as well as evidence pic.twitter.com/g2qki5J83n - Quantumriot7 (@EthanNeale1) April 27, 2022 It was recently “revealed” that the Trespasser Exotic Sidearm from Destiny 1 could make a return in Destiny 2. Simply put, the Japanese version of the April 21st, 2022 This Week at Bungie (TWAB) news update accidentally leaked that the gun could be coming in the (very) near future. Instead of censoring the teased weapon’s name with the usual [REDACTED] like in other TWABs, the Japanese blog post instead wrote the Trespasser’s name in Japanese. Since the weapon debuted in the Rise of Iron expansion and Season 17 is hinting at a number of Rise of Iron-related content, we might meet with Trespasser again in the next season. We have a more detailed write-up about the Trespasser leak, so don’t forget to check that one out too! Weapons Added to and Leaving Loot Pool
If the leak is true, then along with Trespasser, these four weapons are going to be added to Season 17’s loot pool: Forgiveness (Sidearm) Burden of Guilt (Fusion Rifle) Horror’s Least (Pulse Rifle) And D.F.A. (Hand Cannon) And the ritual weapon available when ranking up is the Chain of Command Heavy Machine Gun, as seen above. Just like previous seasons, this will come with a unique ornament according to the vendor. Aside from the addition of the new/old weapons into the mix, other guns are also being withdrawn in the next seasons of Destiny 2. Here is the list straight from the horse’s mouth. Iron Banner Nightfalls Trials of Osiris Leaving in Season 17 Occluded Finality (Sniper Rifle) The Comedian (Shotgun) Shayura’s Wrath (SMG) Finite Impactor (Hand Cannon) Palindrome (Hand Cannon) The Messenger (Pulse Rifle) Leaving in Season 18 Peacebond (Sidearm) PLUG ONE.1 (Fusion Rifle) Eye of Sol (Sniper Rifle) Archon’s Thunder (Machine Gun) The Hothead (Rocket Launcher) The Summoner (Auto Rifle) How Much Does Destiny Season 17 Cost
Destiny 2 Season 17 will continue to use the Season Pass model, which is priced at 1,000 Silver or $9.99 per season. Along with the other two upcoming seasons, Season 17, 18, and 19 are already included if you own the Witch Queen Deluxe Edition. Additions and Changes to Raid Activities
The developers have said that new Raids might be added every three months. Destiny 2 Communication Manager Liana “Hippy” Ruppert added back on the April 14th TWAB that Season 17 is getting a new Raid Dungeon. Raid activities will also be split into Seasonal and Weekly: Seasonal Raids will grant Pinnacle rewards. Weekly Raids will be rotated every seven days. Completing a specific Weekly Challenge will give out a single Pinnacle reward. Essentially, we’re breaking up our new Rotator system into Seasonal and Weekly categories so that players can have a little additional freshness when taking on the weekly hunt for power. […] Each Season, the newly released raid and dungeon will grant Pinnacle rewards for all encounters. For example, in Season 17, Vow of the Disciple and the upcoming [REDACTED] dungeon. Outside of these, we’ll have a raid rotator and a dungeon rotator, each offering a Pinnacle reward once completed. For those wondering about the weekly rotation, this particular inclusion will have a chance to feature all raids and dungeons not listed as the Seasonal rotation. While Bungie has added a new item to help Guardians keep an eye on Elements for crafting weapons, the Relic Tether, it seems that the company is still going to streamline the new feature further. Bungie has announced that it is planning to phase out most of the crafting resources and only keep Neutral Elements for Season 17. Next Season, we are removing Ruinous, Adroit, Mutable, Drowned, and Energetic elements. Only Neutral Elements will remain. When that happens, who knows if Relic Tether will still be a relevant item in Destiny 2 or not. New PvP Maps and Reworks in Destiny Season 17
After reprised maps in season 16, season 17 will come with a brand-new map. There are a bunch of new environments in Destiny 2, and we’re excited to start bringing them into the crucible. - Joe Blackburn (@joegoroth) August 4, 2021 As seen in the tweet above, Destiny 2‘s Game Director Joe Blackburn announced that Season 17 will be getting a new Crucible map. Season 16: Season of the Risen itself added two classic maps to the Crucible rotation, the Vostok and Eternity. Meanwhile, Trials of Osiris is also getting a few reworks: The team is going to continue to “liberally schedule” Capture Zone and Freelance weekends. A few reputation updates are incoming. There will be seven maps in the rotation, one of which will be determined by player votes. There are Adept reward changes. Sandbox Arc 3 0 and Solar 3 0 Reworks
https://t.co/s94L0nPrDo Remember when I said this was a tip to the future of arc 3.0? Speed is a part of arcs kit so we gave the synaptic spear two blinks (back to back before CD), a super slide, and insane jumps/movespeed. Excited to see y'all using it in the wild! - Kevin Yanes (@_Tocom_) February 26, 2022 Sandbox Lead Kevin Yanes has suggested that parts of Synaptic Spear attacks are actually a “testing ground” for Arc 3.0, which will focus on fast attacks and area-of-effects. Meanwhile, the Solar 3.0 overhaul is focused on healing and burning. Both are going to be overhauled to match Stasis and Void 3.0. Glaives are also getting quite a bunch of buff in the upcoming season: We’re pushing Glaives deeper into their roles of hard-hitting melee damage and near-complete protection when shielded, as well as increasing projectile speed to make them more reliable at range. Glaive shield grants 97.5% damage resistance in PvE, 75% in PvP. Increased melee damage vs PvE enemies (except for bosses and vehicles) by 25%. Reduced energy drain speed while shielded by 30%. Increased projectile speed dependent on the range stat: At 0 stat: increased from 30 to 60 m/s. At 100 stat: increased from 80 to 100 m/s. Exotic Glaives have all been buffed, in addition to the global Glaive changes which make it easier to build energy (projectile speed making landing shots easier and energy granted per projectile hit). Titan Glaive, Edge of Action: players now gain a Void overshield while inside the bubble, Helm of Saint-14 now applies to this bubble as it does for Ward of Dawn. Warlock Glaive, Edge of Intent: increased speed and acceleration of the healing turret projectiles. Hunter Glaive, Edge of Concurrence: tripled the damage of the wave detonation, increased the number of enemies it can chain to from 4 to 8. Is Rasputin Coming Back to Destiny 2 Season 17’ s Story
While in Season 16: Season of the Risen, the story focused on Lucent Hive after the end of the Witch Queen campaign. One theory suggests that the Warmind called Rasputin could be coming back with a new Exo body and name, Archangel. This theory comes about from the Archangel set featured during Season 15: Season of the Lost. And as mentioned before, Rasputin was heavily featured in the Rise of Iron expansion, and it seems there is going to be quite a lot of stuff related to the Rise of Iron for Destiny 2‘s Season 17. We’ll keep you updated once Bungie has dropped more info regarding Destiny 2 Season 17. Related:
