Wired Games, who developed and published the game, announced today that Raven’s Hike will be made available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series XS on April 28th – it really is just a few days away. Wired Games, a small independent developer, has created titles such as Red Ronin and Upaon: A Snake’s Journey, small strategic indie games that are easy to play but have an acute charm – games that are perfect for winding down after a long session of constantly dying on Elden Ring, you know, for that well-needed respite. Surely, you like the sound of that anyway, but before we go into the details of Raven’s Hike, have a look at the console trailer below. What is Raven s Hike all about
Raven’s Hike is a 2D precision platformer and a challenging one at that. It forces players to discover the best route through this in-game world to complete all the levels, which consist of challenging puzzles, and where your only friend is a small grappling hook – hey, it worked for Batman. What might begin as an easy, relaxing walk in the park soon changes as the difficulty curve gradually increases as you progress through the game, and you must master control to be as precise as possible. The levels in Raven’s Hike are laden with obstacles, traps, and enemies that you must maneuver past with your trusty grappling hook as an aid. Take a look at some of the game’s features: 60+ handmade levels Unique gameplay mechanics A fair challenge for those platform experts out there Fantastic pixel art and animations And finished off with a lovely little soundtrack Raven’s Hike will be available on April 28th for PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox for $3.99, so take advantage of that price tag while you can.
