These items allow you to summon special NPC companions to aid you in battle. One of the earliest Spirit Ashes that the player can come across is Banished Knight Oleg, an armor-clad knight that dual-wields swords with ice-infused attacks. While this Ash can help you get in many of the areas in the early game, getting your hands on the Spirit Ash is quite difficult for those who try to get it as soon as possible. Whether you do it from the start of a new playthrough or hours into your journey, it is essential to know where to find this strong summon. This guide will show players where and how to get the Banished Knight Oleg’s Spirit Summon Ashes in Elden Ring. How To Get Banished Knight Oleg’ s Ashes In Elden Ring
Banished Knight’s Oleg is one of the rewards that you receive from defeating the boss in the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave. This is one of the earliest dungeons that you can access in Elden Ring, found within the Stranded Graveyard, the area that you awaken in after the first fight with the Grafted Scion boss fight. At the Stranded Graveyard Site of Grace, you will find a fog wall covering a path on the right side of the room. You will need to use two Stonesword Keys to unlock the fog wall and gain access to the Hero’s Grave, starting your path to Banished Knight Oleg’s Spirit Summon Ashes. This is an area that is meant to be a zone you come back to, but if you started your character with the Stonesword Key gift, you can enter the area before even arriving in Limgrave. The zone will see you needing to avoid a chariot and several castle guard enemies to reach the bottom of the dungeon. There are a few paths to reach the bottom with a way to destroy the Chariot to make the path easier. When you get to the bottom, you will find a fog door that leads to the boss fight of the dungeon.

Walking through the fog door, you will be met by a boss known as an Ulcerated Tree Spirit, which you will need to beat to get Banished Knight Oleg’s Spirit Summon Ashes. The boss is large despite the relatively small arena where the fight takes place. The Tree Spirit is a large, snake-like creature that has several wild moves that can be a bit difficult to dodge. It also has large, slithering attacks that can see it traverse the entire arena very quickly as well as a grab move that will do massive damage as well as an AOE that will one-shot most early players if not careful. As stated before, this boss will be a struggle for those who attempt it right out of the Graveyard, but it is beatable. Your reward for beating the Ulcerated Tree Spirit is a Golden Seed to upgrade your flasks and Banished Knight Oleg’s Spirit Summon Ashes in Elden Ring.
