As usual, before the weekly reset, you’ll have to grind Nightfall to get the weekly-rotated featured weapon. Here are the juicy details for Destiny 2 Nightfall Activities and weapons for the week of May 10, 2022. Destiny 2 May 10 2022 Weapon of the Week
As part of the Season of the Risen that’s running from February 22 to May 24, Duty Bound Kinetic Auto Rifle becomes the only featured weapon for the May 10 to 17, 2022, Nightfall Activities weapon drop rotation. Duty Bound was a reward from the “Savathûn’s Song” Weekly Nightfall Strike on Titan. However, the Strike was removed, and the weapon was “sunset” with the Beyond Light expansion in 2020. If you have the time to grind Nightfall, these are the recommended Perks to get for Duty Bound: Preferred Perks for PvE meta: Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling. Magazine: Tactical Mag. Perk 1: Triple Tap. Perk 2: Frenzy. Masterwork: Stability or Range. Mod: Spec Mod. Preferred Perks for PvP meta: Barrel: Smallbore or Corkscrew Rifling. Magazine: Accurized Rounds. Perk 1: Triple Tap. Nightfall – The Ordeal: Birthplace of the Vile, Witch Queen expansion required. Modifiers
Nightfall: Adept Raider Shield: Scorn Raiders now have Void shields. Acute Void Burn: +25% Void damage dealt and +50% Void damage received. Nightfall: Hero All previous modifiers Champion Foes: You will face [Disruption] Overload and [Stagger] Unstoppable Champions. You must equip Anti-Overload and Anti-Unstoppable mods to your arms’ armor to defeat them. These mods come from the Seasonal Artifact. Subtle Foes: Certain foes are stealthy when at a distance. They become visible when near a Guardian. Hero Modifiers: Extra Shields. Nightfall: Legend All previous modifiers Equipment Locked: You will not be able to change your equipment after this activity starts. Match Game: Enemy shields are highly resistant to all unmatched elemental damage. Shielded Foes: You will face combatants with [Arc] Arc, [Solar] Solar, and [Void] Void Shields. Legend Modifiers: Locked Loadout Match Game Extra Shields Nightfall: Master All previous modifiers Famine: All ammunition drops are significantly reduced. Master Modifiers: Champions: Mob Locked Loadout Match Game Extra Shields Champions: Mob: This mode contains additional Champions. Rewards Powerful (Tier 1) reward: Get 3 points by completing runs. Higher difficulties grant more points. Pinnacle reward: Get a score of 100k. Since modifiers are fixed, this requires a high-difficulty run. Wandering Nightmare: Nightmare of Xortal, Sworn of Crota (Sorrow’s Harbor). Trove Guardian is in Hellmouth. Dreaming City Activities, Forsaken expansion required.
