MultiVersus Hosts Closed Alpha with Pro Player Showcase

Games has been introducing bits and pieces of MultiVersus for some time now with trailers and character appearances. The time has come for eager fighting players to join the ranks of Player First Games’ upcoming multiversal game. Players can register now through the MultiVersus website to compete in cross-play battles in a Closed Alpha session. A Pro Player Showcase for MultiVersus can be seen below to see more of the game in action. Warner Bros in the MultiVersus of Cartoon Madness
With MultiVersus invading the multiverse concept this time around, fighters will jump onto platforms with the Closed Alpha phase. Players are encouraged to register as soon as they can; the name implies it is invite-only, so time is ticking away. As aforementioned, MultiVersus is a cross-play title, allowing PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series XS, Xbox One, and PC owners to fight against each other. The Closed Alpha for MultiVersus commences today (May 19th), and it will run until May 27th at 5 PM PT. In addition to the Closed Alpha announcement, the teams behind MultiVersus released a Pro Player Showcase video for everyone to check out. It’s professional fighting gamers MVD & Lord Knight versus ESAM & Light engaging in 2v2 combat. Fighting Game Community commentators Sharpie and AJAX are also here to provide insight on the game and punch-by-punch dialogue. The 34:50 minute video intercuts between commentary and vibrant action, with Arya Stark, Bugs Bunny, Steven Universe, and Batman fighting for our entertainment. MultiVersus is a free-to-play platform fighter that invites multiple iconic characters in pop culture for fantastic clashes. These characters include Shaggy, Velma, The Iron Giant, Superman, Wonder Woman, Tom and Jerry, and many more to appear down the line. If you missed your chance for the Closed Alpha, there will be an Open Beta session sometime in July 2022.
