My Time at Sandrock Where to get Tin

Posted By: Madison Bensonon: May 31, 2022In: Early Access, Features, Gaming, PC, SteamTags: Guide, My Time at SandrockNo Comments Print Email With the recent release of My Time at Sandrock in Early Access, many are eager to see just how Sandrock compares to My Time at Portia. If you’ve progressed through Sandrock’s story, you may have already encountered copper and tin ore, two materials needed to create bronze bars. Since bronze is one of the most widely used crafting materials in the game, you’ll have to gather plenty of copper and tin throughout your playthrough. This guide will provide information on obtaining Tin ore in My Time at Sandrock Early Access.

How to Get Tin Ore in My Time at Sandrock

There are two main methods for obtaining Tin Ore in My Time at Sandrock: Dive into the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins and break Tin ore crystal nodes. Buy them from the Eufaula Salvage shop.

Mining Method

Early in the game, you unlock Eufaula Salvage as a place to farm scrap. You’ll also find elevators bringing you down to the first Abandoned Ruins area unlockable in the game. These Abandoned Ruins are the primary method of obtaining Tin Ore in My Time at Sandrock. You’ll randomly find Tin ore crystal nodes within the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins to break. They appear as silver crystal rocks coming out of the ground. However, it is important to note that you will not encounter these Tin ore crystals until you reach Level 3 of the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins. Go to the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins screen and look under the “You might get” rewards section to know what rewards you get from each level.

Eufaula Salvage Shop

Near the Eufaula Salvage site is a small building housing a store. Enter this building and interact with the cash register at the back of the shop to access the store. You’ll find numerous resources in this shop, including Stone, Ores, Data Discs, and Scrap. The shop includes Tin Ore. Tin Ore will range from 7 to 10 Gols each, depending on the Market price percentage. Furthermore, you can only buy up to 30 Tin Ore at a time, making it a finite source.
