The Los Angeles Lakers star debunked the rumor about the University of Oregon being the lead choice for his son. It’s time for the 17-year-old to join college and many eyes are waiting on his choice. LeBron James took to social media to talk about the rumors concerning Bronny’s choice of college. He debunked the claim that the University of Oregon is the “front runner” to land his 17-year-old son. Bronny is ready for college and there are guesses on which institution will serve as a platform for his college career. According to a report from @On3sports, Oregon emerged as the “front-runner” to land a commitment from Bronny. In response, LeBron James spoke on Bronny’s college plan by debunking the report. The 37-year-old professional basketballer stated on Twitter that his son hasn’t taken one visit yet. He also pointed out that Bronny, the young college-ready star, only had a few calls with coaches and some universities. When LeBron James talked about Bronny’s college plans, he carried his followers along. The star and actor in his post disclosed that Bronny’s college choice entirely depends on him. Any college of Bronny’s choice will be considered lucky due to his recent performance on the court. Before Lebron commented on Bronny’s college rumor, he boasted about his son’s one-handed dunk that went viral. LeBron, on Monday, was proud about Bronny’s feat in a tweet he captioned: “OH MY GOODNESS BRONNY!!!!!,” The viral dunk video also had the likes of Stephen Curry in the comment section. Bronny looks promising as he considers a place in the future of the sport. LeBron confirmed to The Athletic that he will not retire until he can play in the league with his son.
