Season 18 in Destiny 2 is one of the most anticipated, with several major events planned. Here’s a rundown of what to expect in Destiny 2 (continue with an overview of events)! Season 18 begins on August 23, 2022, and the ending date is not yet published. The season will bring several changes and additions to the game, including: – New seasonal content and rewards – New activities and challenges to complete – Updates to the game’s overall balance and progressions Also, Destiny 2 releases new content every season to keep players engaged. Each season traditionally lasts three months, with a new weekly challenge and accompanying seasonal storyline released each week. The Story
The biggest draw of any new Destiny 2 season is the story. Each season has its unique arc that expands upon the game’s existing lore. Season 18 is no different, and we will see the return of some fan-favorite characters. Still, the storyline of Season 18 has not been revealed yet, but we can expect it to center around the Guardian’s battle against the Darkness. All significant events in Destiny 2 Season 18
With a new season comes a host of events to keep players busy. Here are some of the significant events confirmed for Season 18: Raid launch: August 26 th The first of the season new raid will launch on August 26. The name and location of the raid is still a mystery, but it is sure to be one of the most challenging PvE experiences in Destiny 2. Iron Banner: September 6 and November 15 Destiny 2 Season 18 is just around the corner, and with it comes the return of Iron Banner. Also, this competitive PvP mode pits Guardians against each other in a race to earn the most points. The first event will occur on September 6, and the second on November 15th. In addition to the usual Iron Banner fare, Destiny 2 Season 18 will introduce the new Eruption mode. The Eruption is Clash with energy boosts based on kill streaks. When you kill your opponents in Eruption, you get one point and an average amount of energy. You become ” Surging” after you’ve reached your second consecutive elimination without dying (assists are accepted). For a brief time, this gives you extra defense and makes you more resistant to damage. While Surging, you earn additional points, so keep the pressure on once you’ve started. Related

Trials of Osiris: September 16 There is not much content revealed on this event. Therefore we have to wait until Season 18 is launched. Grandmaster Nightfalls returns: October 4. Bungie has announced that the return of Grandmaster Nightfalls is scheduled for October 4, just in time for Season 18. These high-level Nightfalls will be more challenging than ever and will require a coordinated team to complete. Festival of the Lost: October 18 The yearly Halloween event, Festival of the Lost, is scheduled to return on October 18.
