Dream Scenario Nicolas Cage Will Star in the A24 Comedy

No details have been released regarding the plot of the film. The director and producer of the films Hereditary and Midsommar, Ari Aster, is producing the project. Aster is producing it alongside Lars Knudsen under Square Peg. Jacob Jaffke and Tyler Campellone are also producers of the project. A24 is producing and financing the comedy film. Kristoffer Borgli wrote the script for the film and will direct it. Borgli made her directorial debut at the Cannes Film Festival with the film Sick of Myself. This is the fourth time that A24 and Square Peg are working together. Since details of Dream Scenario are scarce, it’s unknown what role Nicolas Cage will play in it. Joaquin Phoenix, Nathan Lane, Patti LuPone, Amy Ryan, and Parker Posey will star alongside Cage. Nicolas Cage Has Found Success Starring in Comedies
The star has made a name for himself outside of the Coppola name. He has achieved praised for his roles in Moonstruck, Leaving Las Vegas, and Con Air. The actor most recently played a version of himself in the film The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. He will also star in the comedy film Renfield as Dracula with Nicholas Hoult and Awkwafina. Besides being used for many memes, the actor is known for his many off-kilter roles and emphatic ways of playing them. Now Cage has a role lined up for an unknown character for the A24 comedy film Dream Scenario. For the most part, his action films have been box office busts over the last decade, but the comedies have reinvigorated his career. The Oscar winner can further show his comedic talents in Dream Scenario and Renfield. The A24 comedy film Dream Scenario starring Cage is set to be released in 2023.
