Nature Girl Is Back Alongside X-Men Green

This week’s X-Men Unlimited Infinity Comic #44 sees the continuation of X-Men Green’s assault on the mortal world. Nature Girl, Sauron, and Curse are up to no good, and now they have the attention of Krakoa’s mightiest; the X-Men. It all goes down in the latest Infinity Comic. Speaking to Marvel, creators Steve Orlando and Emilio Laiso share what they have planned for X-Men Green. In X-Men Unlimited #33, Nature Girl was not doing so well. The nature manipulating mutant seemed hell-bent on making the human world pay for disrupting nature. That escalation continues in this issue as Laiso notes Nature Girl is losing her touch with “humanity.” Her boundaries are dropping, and she is like a ticking time bomb waiting to implode. However, as Orlando says, her motivations are good. Nature Girl just wants to protect the planet. Unfortunately, she is doing so by hurting people. It is a great question about how far we would go to protect what we love or even save our planet. After all, hasn’t humanity harmed nature? Didn’t the mutants harm Nature Girl by sending Wolverine out to stop her? It is a vicious cycle. Who Else Pops Up In The Issue
Alongside team green, Orlando and Laiso share that some special guest stars pop up in the pages of the coming chapters. In fact, Orlando teases that some other Krakoans may join the X-Men Green roster. However, Krakoa must first deal with the burning oil rig that Nature Girl and crew left behind in the last chapter. That will fall to the Marauders led by Kate Pryde. Along with Pryde, Magik may have something to say about X-Men Green’s current war.
